Process plan

Develop operation sequence for a given product in-line with machines and equipment available at customer premises. Define the method of manufacture and create Stage models and drawings by using 3D modeling software as design intent.


Fixture Design

Development of fixtures from concept level to 3D models, associated with 2D drawings. Fixture design activity includes Optimized and Modular concepts, validated by force/load calculations by analysis or hand calculations.

Create customized Inspection or receiving gauges based on Engineering and quality requirements.

Ensure Fixtures are made for Fit to purpose, Error proofing, interface and feasibility of manufacturing and Assembly. The scope involves from concept level to development and prove –out in the shop floor.


CNC programming

Create offline CNC programs for stage and final machining processes. Offline programming contains CNC programs, selection of cutting tools, Tool cards, setup instructions. All the programs will be simulated and validated by verification software to ensure collision-free deliverables.

Capable of delivering CNC programs for Turn, Turn-mill up to 5 Axis machine configurations and compatible with all types of machine controls.

STACS is responsible to prove programs on the machine and handover to production teams by gaining approval from customers.


CMM Programming

Create offline CMM programming for in-process and Final stage inspection. The activities including developing a measurement strategy, decide the number of set-ups, calibration & selection of probes, optimized probe points, speed & travel.

Ensure CMM programs are meeting engineering requirements, online prove-out and conduct Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gauge R&R).


Quality & PPAP

Create Inspection plans and characteristic matrix for engineering features. Identify the best inspection method based on feature tolerance and geometry. Generate balloon numbering and inspection instructions.

Support customer on PPAP documentation as per industry standards including various phases such as Product quality planning; Production & rate proving and Production product approval.

The journey includes key documents like PFMES, Process flow diagram, Control plans, MSA, Dimensional results, FAIR,PCD and PSW.
STACS will provide the solution for reduction repeat non-conformances; Rook cause analysis, support on 8D / 7 QC tools and Process capability studies.
Expertise in giving support of tolerance stack-up analysis for part features and assembly features on both worst-case conditions and Statistical variation methods.
